Breast Care
Breast care at Crestwood Women’s Center offers a coordinated approach to women’s health with services for every woman’s needs. A range of services includes the management of your test results and your treatments, all handled quickly and carefully by experienced technologists who provide personal care to each patient. The staff of trained and compassionate technologists is led by a breast fellowship-trained radiologist, certified in mammography. The multi-disciplinary team also includes surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, gynecologists, plastic surgeons and primary care physicians. A certified breast imaging navigator is also available to assist women with their breast health concerns.

Breast care at The Crestwood Women’s Center at Crestwood Medical Center has been designated as an ACR Designated Comprehensive Breast Imaging Center by the American College of Radiology (ACR). Breast Care at Crestwood is also accredited by the ACR on Stereotactic Breast Biopsy..
By awarding facilities the status of a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, the ACR recognizes breast imaging centers that have earned accreditation in mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, and breast ultrasound (including ultrasound-guided breast biopsy).
Peer-review evaluations, conducted in each breast imaging modality by board-certified physicians and medical physicists who are experts in the field, have determined that Crestwood Medical Center’s breast care has achieved high practice standards in image quality, personnel qualifications, facility equipment, quality control procedures and quality assurance programs.

Appointments are on a first-come, first-served basis. An order from a physician or qualified healthcare provider is not required, but the patient must provide a physician/provider name when an appointment is made. All mammogram reports will be sent to the physician/provider, and the patient is responsible for follow-up. *Check with your insurance provider to confirm coverage for a screening mammogram
