Crestwood Medical Center’s Freestanding Emergency Department to Open July 9

Crestwood Medical Center is proud to announce the opening of Crestwood Freestanding Emergency Department - Harvest on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. Care teams will begin seeing patients at 7:00am. The Crestwood Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) is located at 1337 Burwell Road in Harvest, near the corner of Highway 53 and Burwell Road. This facility will provide emergency care to patients in Harvest, Toney, Bobo, Ardmore, and surrounding communities in northwestern Madison County, northeastern Limestone County and southern Tennessee.
“Patients and community members of North Alabama have been eagerly awaiting the opening of the FSED for weeks now. The excitement in the community is palpable and Crestwood is honored to be able to provide much needed emergency care right here in the Harvest community,” said Matthew Banks, Chief Executive Officer at Crestwood Medical Center.
Emergency physicians, registered nurses, and other patient care professionals will staff the ER. The emergency department will feature:
- 10 private treatment rooms and a trauma bay
- ER trained physicians, nurses and care teams
- 24/7 care for emergencies
- Imaging services, including CT, ultrasound and x-ray
- Laboratory services
- Access to Crestwood Medical Center's spectrum of care
If a higher level of care is required, a patient can be transported quickly to Crestwood Medical Center or the facility of their choice.
