Crestwood Medical Center Opens Unit to Expand Critical Care Capacity

Crestwood Medical Center has expanded its Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with the addition of 10 beds in a new unit, further enhancing the hospital’s ability to provide critical care services to the Huntsville community.
Designed for Patient Care & Comfort
The new unit is thoughtfully designed to ensure the best possible care and experience for patients, their families, and our healthcare team. The unit features:
- 10 Additional ICU Beds – Increasing capacity to serve more critical care patients in their time of need
- Central Nursing Station – Allowing seamless communication and monitoring of patients
- Embedded Workstations – Providing easy access to essential tools and patient information for coordinated, high-quality treatment

The unit is located on the fourth floor of the hospital.
