Crestwood Medical Center Fights Hunger with Jars of Love Peanut Butter Drive
2/26/2025
Huntsville, AL – Crestwood Medical Center is participating in its third annual Jars of Love Peanut Butter Drive benefitting the Food Bank of North Alabama. The community is invited to participate in this effort to fight hunger in the local area. Peanut butter is a sought after item for food banks because of its high nutritional value and long shelf life. Yet, it is one of the least donated items. The Jars of Love Peanut Butter Drive kicks off on March 3rd and will run through March 22nd.
“Crestwood Medical Center not only supports the patients who come through our doors, we are also committed to supporting better health throughout our community,” said Justin Serrano, CEO, Crestwood Medical Center. “People right here in north Alabama are facing food insecurity, which has a profound impact on overall health and well-being. With the Jars of Love Peanut Butter Drive we can help a vital community organization reduce hunger in our area.”
Peanut and nut butter can be dropped off March 3-22 at Crestwood Medical Center visitors’ entrance and at any Crestwood Medical Group clinic location. Last year, Crestwood collected 3,200 hundred jars for the Food Bank of North Alabama.
