International Board-Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC) visit every breastfeeding mom during her stay and are available for free personal consultation after discharge. Nurses are also trained in lactation and are available to assist with breastfeeding techniques or to answer questions. A free breastfeeding class is offered monthly and mom’s support person is encouraged to attend, too.
Breastfeeding Support Group
Join us for a breastfeeding support group. A lactation consultant will be available to answer questions and address concerns and participants will receive support and encouragement from other breastfeeding mothers. Bring your baby. No appointment needed.
