Crestwood Invests in 2nd Robotic Surgery System

Huntsville, AL – In July 2013, Crestwood invested in a second da Vinci® Si System, to keep up with the demand for robotic procedures in Madison County and surrounding areas.

Crestwood invested in its first da Vinci Si system in February 2012. The demanded volume from our community far exceeded the number of procedures that could be done with a single robot, which led to the purchase of a second system.

The purchase of the additional system is an investment in the level of medical technology available in our community. It allows more physicians, and thus more patients, access to the option of robotic surgery.
